Mother Catherine Spalding School parents
and guardians are encouraged to
participate in this rewarding program.
Additionally, any family members, i.e.
Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, etc, and
Friends of the family can also participate
and designate our school. Please advise
as many individuals that you can think of
that can/would assist our school in this
program. This website (www.MotherCatherineSpalding.org)
has been set-up to make it a “simple
process” for everyone to easily designate
our school within seconds. Your
assistance and continuing support, as
always, is greatly appreciated and will
benefit our children.

What is LionShop &
Share?
LionShop & Share is the easiest, most
convenient way to raise money for your
local non-profit organization or charity.
Each time you shop at Food Lion and use
your MVP card, a portion of your total
grocery purchase will be donated to the
school, church or other local non-profit
organization you have selected. Food Lion
knows it is important to be involved in
the local communities in which it serves,
and LionShop & Share is our way of helping
you help your community grow and prosper.
Who can
participate in LionShop & Share?
LionShop & Share is generally open to all
local non-profit organizations. Food Lion
reserves the right to refuse participation
by certain organizations such as political
parties and affiliated political action
committees and groups.
Please remember, a Food Lion donation does
not mean Food Lion necessarily endorses
the activities of a specific organization.
How can I get my Non-Profit
organization signed up?
You must be a non-profit organization and
have a tax ID number to participate in the
LionShop & Share.
To sign up your non-profit organization,
please call our Customer Service

through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

How do I register to support my
Non-Profit organization?
To register to support your favorite
organization, please click

or if you have any questions please call
our Customer Service line at
1-800-210-9569, Monday through Friday, 8am
to 5pm. You will enter your Food Lion MVP
number, name and address, and then choose
the organization you wish to support from
the drop down box. If the organization you
wish to support is not listed, please call
your organization and encourage it to sign
up for this program.
How much money can my organization
earn?
At the end of each quarter Food Lion will
divide the Funds proportionally among the
LionShop & Share organizations depending
on their total accumulated sales. Checks
are sent to the LionShop & Share
organizations approximately six weeks
after the quarter ends. In order to
receive a check in any quarter, an
organization must earn at least $50 during
that quarter. A check will be issued once
the fifty dollar threshold has been
reached. There will be a cap of $350 per
organization per quarter.
What if a customer would like to
support more than one organization?
You may only sign up one organization per
quarter, but you have the option to change
the organization you wish to support
before each quarter begins.
How do the quarters run?
January-March; April-June; July-September;
October-December
How far in advance does the customer
need to sign up?
Customers must sign up each year to
participate in the LionShop & Share
program. Additionally, customers will need
to sign up the organization they choose to
support before each quarter begins.
At the end of each
quarter, Food Lion will post the top 40
Non-Profit Organizations on the web site.
