Fundraisers
  • Bingo
    • The 2003/2004 MCSS Bingo Chairperson/Coordinator is Catherine Smith.  If you have any questions,  please call her at 301-884-7472.
  • Book Fair
    • The MCSS Book Fair Coordinator is Debbie Johnson
  • Campbell's [Soup] Labels
  • Candy Drive
    • Coordinator of the 2003/2004 Candy Drive  is: Ellen Alvey and JoAnn Ucekay.
    • Annual Fundraiser during late winter.  *Tuition Requirement:  Each family is required to Purchase (or Sell) the following:
      • 1 Child      -   60 Bars
      • 2 Children -   90 Bars
      • 3 Children - 120 Bars
  • Casino Nights
    • This is a partnership Fundraiser with Holy Angels/Sacred Heart and Father Andrew White Schools.  The Casino Nights are held twice yearly, Fall and Spring, usually at the Hollywood Volunteer Fire Department.  Donnie Burch is the Chairperson for both the Fall and Spring Casino Nights.
  • Christmas Bazaar
    • Coordinator of the 2003/2004 MCSS Christmas Bazaar is the Home School Association Officers.
    • The Annual Christmas Bazaar will be held on Sunday, November 16, 2003.  We will have individual crafters selling their goods to the public at MCSS, many activities, such as Kids Carnival, Secret Santa Shop, Bake Sales, etc.
    • Anyone wishing to assist with the bazaar or with questions may contact:  James Horstkamp (email address:  james@oldgumco.com ) or Kelley Quade (email address:  kq4mk@netscape.com ).  For information concerning rental of craft tables, please contact:  Charlie Eisele.  Charlie's Email Address is:  cweisele@yahoo.com.
  • Food Lion - Lion Shop & Share 2003/2004
    • The MCSS Lion Shop & Share 2003/2004 Coordinator is Debbie Johnson
    • LionShop & Share is the easiest, most convenient way to raise money for your local non-profit organization or charity. Each time you shop at Food Lion and use your MVP card, a portion of your total grocery purchase will be donated to the school.
  • General Mill's Box Tops for Education
    • The 2003/2004 MCSS General Mill's Box Tops for Education Coordinator is Denise Krumenacker

  • Giant - A+ BonusBucks
    • The MCSS Giant A+ BonusBucks Coordinator is Debbie Johnson
    • A+ BonusBucks are credits that accrue with each purchase using the Bonus Card. At the end of each month, the A+ BonusBucks are used in a calculation to determine your school's cash total, which, then, is automatically credited to your school's account. Customers can designate a school(s) (up to three) to benefit from the A+ BonusBucks that accrue.
  • McKays "Gold Sharing Rewards" Program
    • We will again participate in this PROGRAM, providing McKays has it for the 2003/2004 School Year.  More information will be posted on the Website and also sent home with the children, as soon as available.
  • Pizza Sales
    • Coordinator of the 2003/2004 MCSS Pizza Sales is Joe Stine.
    • Annual Spring Fundraiser. *Tuition Requirement:  Each family is required to Purchase (or Sell) 5 pizza kits.
  • Raffle
    • Coordinator of the 2002/2003 MCSS Raffle are Terri Gibbons and Mary Ellen Evans.
    • Annual Fundraiser that ends the day of the Christmas Bazaar. *Tuition Requirement
  • SchoolCash
    • The MCSS SchoolCash Coordinator is Debbie Johnson
    • Mother Catherine Spalding School will earn up to 20% whenever you make a purchase at one of the more than 250 participating SchoolCash merchants -- from Amazon.com to JC Penney to ToysRus.
  • SchoolMall
    • The MCSS SchoolMall Coordinator is Debbie Johnson
    • Mother Catherine Spalding School will earn up to 40% whenever you make a purchase at one of the more than 100 participating SchoolMall merchants -- like Office Max, Smarter Kids, WalMart and Dell.
  • Target
    • The MCSS SchoolMall Coordinator is Debbie Johnson
    • You can support your school just by shopping with your Target® Visa® or Target Guest Card®. Through School Fundraising, Target will donate an amount equal to 1%* of your qualifying Target Visa or Target Guest Card purchases at Target stores or Target.com to the eligible K-12 school of your choice. In addition, 1/2%* of qualifying Target Visa purchases outside of Target stores or Target.com will go to the eligible K-12 school of your choice. Schools receive their donations twice a year, and funds accumulate all year long.  To date of this page (See right-hand side of date page was updated), MCSS has received $252.13 from Target.
  • Tyson's Project A+
    • The MCSS Tyson's Project A+ Coordinator is Janet Lutkewitte.  Janet's Email Address is:  janetlutkewitte@mothercatherinespalding.org
    • Our school can redeem labels from more than 40 Tyson products that feature the Project A+ logo. Parents, school faculty members, and others in the community are asked to clip and save labels from frozen Tyson items. Each Project A+ label has a value of $0.24 when redeemed by a our school.
