School Association (HSA) Meeting
2002 –
2003 School Year
On 20 November, Vice President, Donnie
Burch called the second HSA meeting for
the 2002 – 2003 school year to order and
lead the HSA in the Pledge of Allegiance.
Principal Cresce gave the invocation.
PRESIDENT’S REPORT
- None. President, Smith, was unable
to attend this HSA meeting. Vice
President Burch facilitated the meeting on
behalf of President Smith.
HSA TREASURY REPORT
- Treasurers report was given, a break
down of the earnings from Casino Night and
the Christmas Bazaar. Copies were
provided to HSA members who attended the
meeting.
COMMITTEE
REPORTS
Casino Night
– The next Casino Night is scheduled for
21 February 2003 at the Hollywood Fire
Department, starting at 6:00p.m.
Donnie needs volunteers to deals cards for
the Poker and Black Jack tables.
Again, this is a joint venture with Father
Andrew White and Holy Angels. Please
come support our schools.
B I N G O!
Please keep up the good work in working
your scheduled bingo’s! Remember, if you
cannot make your scheduled bingo use
subs! Mr. Smith made a plea to the HSA,
if you are a team captain, please, please,
please make phone calls to remind parents
of their scheduled nights/afternoons. We
cannot function without the income that
bingo generates.

Discussion
- A discussion took place on where and
when the funds are being used when
approved/given from HSA to the school.
There was a growing concern by the parents
on items and monies appropriated from the
HSA to the school and that appropriated
money is not being used for the intended
purpose.

held Wednesday, 29 January 2003 at
