20 November 2003
Home & School Association News
Please attend the next
meeting, scheduled for
December 3rd, 7:00 PM.
Items to be discussed
are: Change of
bylaws, reports on all
fundraisers, results of
internet usage survey,
and an update on the
volunteer program.
If you have any
additional topics for
discussion, please
submit them in writing
to James Horstkamp (james@oldgumco.com
or via Daniel, 1st
grade) or Kelley Quade (kq4mk@netscapt.net
or via Brett, 6th
Grade), by December 1st.
Also, we need a new
Secretary. This
position runs until the
end of the school year
2005.
Responsibilities include
meeting minutes,
timekeeping according to
Robert's Rules of Order
during meetings, and any
organizational tasking
at discretion of the
H&SA president. If
you feel you have the
time and desire to serve
MCSS in this capacity,
please contact James or
Kelley. We'd like
to have this position
filled before the next
meeting.
In addition our
Treasurer, Lynn
Babuchiwski, will only
be able to serve one
year of the two year
term as she is the
parent of an eighth
grader. If you are
interested in shadowing
Lynn this year and
taking over the position
please contact James,
Kelley or Lynn (via
Nick, 8th grade).
Responsibilities include
keeping HS&A accounts,
keeping the checkbook,
signature authority, and
presenting Treasurer's
report. Skill in
Excel is a plus for this
position.
We again wish to thank
all the families that
participated in the MCSS
Christmas Bazaar.
Without your time and
efforts, this event
could not exist.
Very Respectfully,
Kelley A. Quade - MCSS
H&SA Vice President
