We follow the announcements for the St. Mary's County Public Schools.  Exception to the public schools:  When a two hour delay is announced and the Catholic Schools are scheduled for a 1:00pm dismissal, the Catholic Schools will be open until 3 o'clock.  When unsafe weather conditions exist, including excessive heat or hazards on the roadways, listen to the radio or TV for announcements regarding school delays or closing.  Parents are asked not to call the schools or media to inquire about school closing information.  Such calls may tie up the lines that are necessary for emergency use.

Please Note New Policy:  In the event of a delayed opening the students will arrive at the appropriate time following the delayed schedule.  If the day was scheduled for early dismissal, the school day will be extended to the regular dismissal time of 3:00pm due to the delayed opening.
