Information
Mother
Catherine Spalding provides significant
tuition discounts for families with more
than one child in the school.
Parents may choose to pay on an annual,
semi-annual, quarterly or monthly basis.
Families are welcome to apply for tuition
assistance through the Archdiocese of
Washington. Application forms are
available through the school.
MCSS
Tuition Policy
The policy of Mother Catherine Spalding
School is that all families who pay
tuition for their children do so in a
timely manner. Payment methods may
be chosen by the parent before the
beginning of the school year. See

for current rates and schedule of
payments.
Registration Forms and Fees
New Students:
A
non-refundable registration fee is
required to have the new student
considered for enrollment. The fee
is primarily used for purchasing
textbooks and other instructional
materials. During the registration
process, which begins in mid-March for
new students, preference is given to
Catholic students whose families support
St. Joseph's, Our Lady of the Wayside,
or Immaculate Conception. Next out
of parish Catholics are considered then
non-Catholic families may be considered,
if space is available. The
following items are required to complete
registration:

Birth Certificate

Baptismal Certificate (if applicable)

Current Report Card (if applicable)
Current
Students:
A
complete re-registration from
accompanied by the non-refundable fee is
need to hold your child/children's place
on the class roster.
Re-registration is accepted beginning in
Mid-February for all families whose
tuition is current. Mid-March
begins open registration; parents of new
student so the waiting list will be
called to have their children placed on
the class roster.

as new events may be added. The

Delinquent Payments
MCSS considers delinquency of tuition
payments a serious matter. The
school reserves the right to withhold a
student's record and report cards if the
family fails to satisfactorily make
tuition payments. The school
Principal is open to other payment
arrangements. If you have a
particular financial problem, please
discuss this situation with the school
Principal for alternative financial
arrangements.
